Accessibility permission
GridCue needs macOS Accessibility permission to move and resize windows.
- Open System Settings.
- Choose Privacy & Security, then Accessibility.
- Turn on GridCue.
After changing the permission, return to GridCue and refresh the window list.
Supported windows
GridCue works with standard, movable, resizable windows visible in your current Space.
- Full-screen, Split View, and minimized windows may not be available.
- Some system panels and custom windows cannot be controlled.
- GridCue does not move windows to another Space or launch closed apps.
- If your display setup changes, missing windows are skipped.
Stored data
Projects, grids, layouts, shortcuts, and settings are stored on your Mac. GridCue's core features do not require an internet connection.
